John Mayer, one of America's biggest songwriters and guitarists asked us to create an homage to his favourite band, The Grateful Dead, to provide the backdrop to their collaboration. With no specific song in defined, I created a flexible library of animated loops and kaleidoscopes that could be mixed live on the night. I was inspired by 70's psychedelia and the Grateful Dead's own illustrations.
