The Rarebreed Centre is one of Kents leading visitor attractions, but also part of a larger charity the Canterbury Oast Trust. The RBC had grown organically over 30 years and its branding had never been fully considered.
After initially working with them on smaller design projects, we helped them towards a full rebrand, to reflect their status and help bring clarity to their overarching charitable offer.
There followed a gradual rebrand of the RareBreeds Centre over 2 years consolidated with a new logo in 2015. Creation of a site wide way-finding system, restaurant menus, product packaging, merchandise and website. We proposed a 'house of brands' system for other life skill offers lending brand equity from the most popular of the offers RareBreeds Centre, thus increasing general brand awareness across Kent for the main charity Canterbury Oast Trust.
The RareBreeds Centre increased its visitor numbers from 80k to 100k during the rebrand, and is now at 130k a year. It is now one of Kent's most popular attractions with strong brand recognition and loyalty. TwoBird continue to work alongside the Canterbury Oast Trust and RareBreeds Centre as their pop-up creative department.
